Frequently Asked Questions

What is your shipping Policy?

In most cases the customer is responsible for shipping costs unless your purchase has arrived damaged. Shipping cost is included during checkout.

What is your Policy on Returns/Exchanges/Refunds?

Once a purchase has been made, no returns or exchanges are granted.  Refunds will be made only if your order arrives damaged, in which case you should take pictures of the damage and contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.

How can I keep up with your new work?

Follow the blog and sign up for the newsletter for major announcements including discounts and special events.

What is the difference between an Open Edition and Limited Edition print?

Open Editions are generally signed, and not numbered. Limited Editions are signed and numbered. For more information, visit About The Art.

What is better, prints on aluminum or acrylic facemounts?

In the past we defaulted to acrylic every time because aluminum dye sublimation prints were not what they are today.  When done right they now hold a wide color gamut and are extremely durable - enough to be used in the creation of fine art in which we are focused on image accuracy and archival properties. We like both processes and they can look very similar so its really up to you to decide. Either way we produce our works with the highest level of materials that will outlast you, and probably your great great grandchildren!

How do I install and care for my acrylic print?

Read the Acrylic Care & Installation Guide

Can I order with options not listed for my chosen piece?

Sometimes customers have special requests for alternate cropping, sizes, shipping preferences, etc.  We can accommodate your request as long as the integrity of the art and the edition run is held. Don't be afraid to ask for something special. We like to say yes!

What is Photonic Painting?

Photonic Painting is a term created by Michael to describe his digital works.  Some photonic paintings are combined with traditional painting (usually acrylic) to create mixed media works, and some are the pure photonic process. Read the description of each individual work to find more information.

Is there an easy way to order wholesale for galleries or designers?

Yes. We have an easy ordering system for you.  Please contact us and we will quickly set you up in our system after verifying your credentials.
