Indiana

The local kids described this fall and natural amphitheater to me as “our place.”  I felt like a guest in their home after that, and was privileged to experience the peaceful energy here. While it looks like a rock quarry, it is not.  The notch that the water flows from has been formed over time.  If you visit the fall, do yourself a favor and walk along the river above, before you descend the trail.  There are many odd forms and miniature arches in the stream, the likes of which I haven’t seen elsewhere.  I’m not a geologist, but its obvious that water has traveled this path for a very, very long time.
